Release 1.0.1 Changelog

Hello, and welcome to the very first Changelog of It'd Take a Miracle!

Below are the changes in this version:

Actions

Added the 'Quick' tag from Natures.

Transform and Overcharge are now Quick

Help, Hinder, and Trust Others are now Combat Actions

Evasive Maneuvers now affect all Injury and Stress until the start of your next turn, but all of your rolls until then are Reduced

Why

Transform and Overcharge were always meant to be Quick, just never had the terminology there for use in combat.

Help and Hinder were requested as more ways to tactically play around combat to lock down Monstrosities and hit the rolls that are important, and why create more complications and actions when you can use what already exists!

Trust others can now be a big combo attack because it needed more use cases and that's super cool. Monstrosity fights HURT.

Evasive Maneuvers is now really big and can set up some big plays, but becomes rougher to use.

Natures

Defender's Action has become Quick

Skirmisher's Enhance is now for Act Skillfully instead of any Body or Mind roll.

Skirmisher's action now costs 6 Overcharge, but lets them take any combat action!

Why

Action economy is important, and Defender carries a heavier burden than, say, Destroyer to use their action. Plus they kinda want that Evasive Maneuvers, but at the cost of poorer defense. With good rolls, Defenders can build a LOT of Hope which is neat.

Skirmisher is an all-rounder. The new action lets them stack big brain plays with all the action options.

Roles

The Number-Keeper gets another job: Remind the group to take breaks!

Why

They aren't doing much outside of Combat and we could all use a reminder.

I'll continue to test these revisions, and feedback is always welcome! Remember to Find Hope and in a pinch, Act Desperately!

Oh yeah, new Character Sheet to reflect the Nature changes.
The Character Sheet in the Core rulebook is still out of date, as are some of the screenshots on the main project page since some action orders were switched around. I'll probably stealth update these at some point or in the next release
