Happy Walpurgisnacht!
It took a Miracle...
But my second Magical Girl game is finally complete! I haven't been updating ITAM because I've been hoarding those ideas and turned them into a completely different game instead. Trust me, there's some wacky systems. I have plans at some point to go back and back-port some of 2MMG's systems into ITAM, so we'll see how that goes.
Unlike ITAM, This project started on March 16th since I knew it was going to be more ambitious and the game jam I made ITAM for last year decreased the size of entries from 50 pages to 20 pages. We're currently sitting at 98, so that definitely wasn't on the books. That also means that the dev schedule perfectly mirror's Homura's Timeloops from Madoka, which was completely intentional.
So on the topic of the game, it's worth noting that it's not actually done, just playable. I was crunching hard for the deadline and had to make some cuts. So currently there's 3 Harbingers and 3 Disasters, but the full launch of the game will include all 12 Harbingers and 10 Disasters. It's funny how some of them are perfect setups for a game of ITAM. Plus, the game could probably use an actual editing pass and some rushed text could be improved.
Also hey, if you aren't familiar with my other game, It'd Take a Miracle, then please give it a look! It's also about Magical Girls and has an actual gamemaster.
I'd be overjoyed if you game this game a look! I'm gonna go take a break now, it's been a long month.

If I keep this up each year, I might as well make a formal Game Jam. Keep an eye out!
